AIDA Depth World Championship 2023 Day 4:

Alexey Molchanov Sets New CWTB World Record.

Russia's Alexey Molchanov set a new men's World Record in the Constant Weight with Bifins (CWTB) discipline on Day 4 of the AIDA Depth World Championships off Limassol, Cyprus.

𝗔𝗹𝗲𝘅𝗲𝘆 𝗠𝗼𝗹𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗼𝘃 changed his equipment before a dive, especially the fins before his 123m CWYBF performance at the World Championships where he set a world record.

Alexey sells his fins at a discount to lucky fans who have the same foot size.
These unique fins, which penetrated to inaccessible depths, should be placed in a museum or sold at double the price  but Alexey is kind.

He made a World Championship record without his own pair of PRO Hyper Bifins Carbon and had to borrow a pair of PRO Hyper Bifins Fiberglass, sizes larger than the fins he is used to diving with.

This did not stop Alexey from announcing an AIDA world record for diving 1m shy of his personal best and the absolute CWTB world record of 124m CMAS.

Alexey reached 123 m despite his audacious decision, he set a new AIDA world record in CWTB
